Sullivan OH. Chartered Aug 21 1883. Named in memory of Fuller Smith, a private of Co H, 8th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. A Sullivan enlistee, Smith was was instantly killed when shot near the heart at the battle of Cold Harbor VA.
