As a network member you are actively involved in promoting, preserving and documenting history. You understand the value of historical documents, images, items and all that pertains to its preservation.  Likewise, responsibility applies to you when contributing to the network and all items, documents, words and theories are the sole representation of the submitter. Moderators and group leaders obtain an added responsibility to make sure all submitted items are authentic, appropriate and legal:

1. An item is defined as anything submitted to this site. 

  Submitters 

1. A submitter is defined as anyone who posts, submits, comments and otherwise publishes text, images or media to any portion of this site.
2. Submitted items will be identified as belonging to the submitter unless otherwise noted.
3. All items that are submitted to the archive must be credited if the item does not belong to the submitter.
4. All items are submitted with permission from the original owner.
5. It is the submitters responsibility to obtain permissions prior to submitting an item.
6. All items must be 100% authentic.
7. Submitter must understand current copyright laws and usage laws for public domain materials.
8. If the item is a public domain item but researched and compiled by  someone other than the submitter then the submitter must credit the compiler/researcher of the information
9. Submissions from submitters can not be slanderous or contain liable statements
10. All current laws and regulations must be followed by the submitter

Members

1. A member is defined as any registered user of this site.
2. A member must adhere to all submitter guidelines as stated above
3. A member can not delete, edit or other wise post items with malicious intent.
4. A member will not cause harm or damage to any portion of this site or its members.
5. A member can be banned from this site
6. Slanderous statements are not acceptable.
7. Members must adhere to all international and national laws currently in place.
8. Harassment is not acceptable.
9. All members of this site are responsible for items and text and any submissions they will post.

1. NO items, text, theories, images etc. on this site  can be used for commercial purposes unless permission is obtained from the submitter or the items original owner.
2. ALL intellectual property rights currently in place by the United States government applies to this site and ALL items on this site.
